I think this scene was important because it shows Meadow's development into a woma--
OK, I can't even analyze it. Just Jesus, Mary and Joseph, thank you David Chase and Jamie-Lynn DiScala for sending those sweet 13 seconds my way. Unbelievable.
Anyone else have any, err, analysis on that part of the opening sequence?

I think it was in there, if for nothing else, to show Meadow has really grown into a beautiful woman. She is skinny, in shape and it looks like she may have even gotten a nose job. Shows that she is still happy with her fiance, Finn too.

If you notice, she's trying to get Finn to pay attention to her instead of the TV. His face is hard to read - half enjoying it and half wanting to watch whatever was on.

Dib anyone notice that the opening credits listed her as Jamie-Lynn Sigler instead of DiScala?

She got divorced and therefore went back to her old name.

I didn't want to mention this, because I wanted to let David Chase follow through with it if it was true. That is the idea of Meadow as the savior. The opening score of this episode explicitly addressed Meadow as the "guardian angel", and that reminded me of that one extra video that they used to show on the official site, the "meadow" cam. She said something regarding her thoughts on her future, about how she see's herself as the "hero" destined to save her family. Any thoughts?

Interesting thought..........you know she is going to be a lawyer. Tony helped get an internship.......I doubt with prosecutors.
However, I don't think there is enough time for her to graduate and pass the bar......just a thought

Maybe Meadow has to donate some organ to save Tony's life from the gun shot wound?
