I guess with Feech gone Phil will turn out to be the bad### and Sack`s right hand man. Because we`ve really not seen him in the forefront except for the lady shyster thing. But they`re totally setting him up to be a major thorn in Tony`s side. What do you guys think?

I'm not so sure he will be a thorn in Tony's side, I doubt that NJ will get directly involved in the NY war...

I think the war WILL be NY and Jersey because sack keeps putting his greedy hands deeper and deeper into Jersey and Toney`s territory.

It appears that the war will remain between Johnny Sack and little Carmine. I foresee Tony having a role in the background. Tony seems to be taking the position that its best to let the animosities play out within the New York family and to fill any void which is created by the ensuing violence. if Tony were to directly involve the Dimeo/Soprano family I do not see a benefit for him if the person he chooses to side with does not come out on top.

Exactly... As he told Chris, they will pick up the crumbs...

But what if NY decides to expand. Maybe with Juniors state of mind they might not feel to safe with things as they are?

That is a long way off, with all the problems NY will have the last thing they will be thinking about until either Little Carmine or Johnny Sack wins power, is expanding into NJ...

Remember Feech stated that he went to somebody Johnny recommended and it set Tony off because he did not use his guys(for the car heist....Tony and Feech's last conversation in this episode). Is Tony's guys going to Johnny to much? Like Paulie?

Tony stated that he wanted to pick up the crumbs but what happens if Jonny's operation engulfs little Carmines? Is Tony's operation going to be able to stop it?

No way-NJ vs NY is too lopsided to even be considered.

Johnny may be a greedy guy, but he wouldn't start a war with NJ. He wants to be the boss of NY more than anything and if he was the boss, why would he want to mess up good business with NJ? These guys are in it for the money a war is the worst thing financially.

i remember reading an interview where frank vincent says he just finished up filming episode 13 "all due respect". he says in that interview that his character is not a very nice guy and ends up causing a lot of problems for tony soprano. my guess is that leotardo and sack ultimately gain power over lil carmine and eventually become the series' antagonists. with johnny sack leading the NY family his decisions will have much more influence over the sopranos family.

I think in the end Lil Carmine and his whole side of the Ny thing loose the war and end up in alot of different rivers! and Then Johnny Sack and Tony start to fued to make it real exciting for next season with those last 10 episodes!

But did'nt Tony begin to instigate this whole thing by blaming NY for Ralphie's death/dissapearance last season???

I think that the Ralphie thing is over! But of course the NY war will enter NJ...Sack lives in NJ! I think that Tony will stay out of directly taking sides until it's obvious who is winning...

Nah...I don't think the Soprano/DiMeo family will forget about one of their own being whacked out by NY, especially if the claim was made by their own boss...

don't know when, but that lapse in Tony's thinking is gonna come back and bite him in the ass...

They know that Ralph was killed over the horse...

The fact that everyone is aware of Ralphie being killed over the horse is what everyone is forgetting. If I remember correctly In one of the last three episodes of season four Silvio is talking to someone in the back of the Bing and makes a reference to Ralphie being killed over a horse. The simple fact is that everyone in some way has benefited from the elimination of Ralphie:

-Paulie assumed the top earner's position once again.
-Vito assumed the Capo position.

These are just two people who have benefited directly, its no telling how many people have benefited indirectly.

I remember a scene with Patsy Parisi and Albert Barese, and Albert syas something to the effect of, "Over a horse" and Patsy says "If it can happen to him it can happen to any of us"...
