what was up w/ the end of the preview for n. week's episode where Chris and Feech are shaking hands as if they had somehow agreed on something???
w/ Feech's feelings about Tony being the boss, ("How is the Boy King?" to Tony B.) and how Chris really F'ed up at the sitdown w/ Johnny Sac...
is Feech beginning to get his ducks in a row for a run at Tony... especially w/ all the apprarent distractions comming from NY- Johnny Sac/Lil Carmine???
BTW - Eventhough Junior had lost it a little bit...he still had the stones to tell the cops to go s--t in their hat!!!!
Uncle Jun's still as tough as they come....old school baby

I think Feech is playing out to be a Richie clone.
Both get out of prison and immediately start trouble. Richie bludgeons Beansie, and Feech breaks the Lawn guy's arm. Richie uses Janice and Junior to mount a revolt, and Feech is starting to play up to Tony B.
Both are old school, in your face types, and both have too much pride to let a contemporary boss them around.
Feech is a bit over the top, but with the rest of the show (thankfully) taking a more emotional/dramatic turn, it's nice to have some unadulterated action.

I was a very interesting preview. Any guesses on who the guy shooting the gun at the end was?

I don't think Feech will shape up to be a clone of Richie or Ralph. The difference is, Feech is a real oldtimer who presumably had been a capo on his way up when he went away. He was in a position of authority when Tony, Jackie and Silvio knocked over his game. He has infinitely more respect and esteem both for his age, former rank and time spent in jail than either Ralphie or Richie ever did. No one seemed to mind if either of those guys disappeared, hell, most people were supportive of it. But taking out Feech would be a lot more difficult.

You really think so? Paulie wouldn't mind him dead. Junior is losing his wits, and might not notice anyway. I don't think the other guys are as tied to Feech as you might think, and if he goes the way of Richie, they'll all hate him before too long, anyway.

if Feech is taken out or attempted a'la Ritchie/Ralphie, we may see a return of the old Tony B wanting some payback...that would be an interesting twist, no??

Feech has alot of pull meaning i think alot of guys such as Blundetto, junior, maybe chrissy may all pull for feech which could put tony s in a bind and another thing is what if feech got his own lil thing goin and sided with johnny sack to help them that may align johnny sack against Tony! I KNOW PAULIE WOULD ALIGN WITH TONY! and thats important because alot of ppl were questioning his loyalty to Ton and we see now hes still true!

What makes you think that Paulie is so loyal to Tony? This episode showed that he is still kissing Johnny Sack's a--. He sent Sal Vitro do do Sack's lawn.

I thought that it was Tony who sent Sal Vitro do do Johnny Sack's lawn. When they were leaving the sitdown and he was yelling at Chris he said he had to figure out something nice to do for Johnny Sack. I thought his grass cut was it.

I think Feech spills his distaste for Tony to Chris, much like he was about to in episode 3. I also think Chris pretends to agree with him, shakes his hand, and then goes back to Tony and tells him of what has happened.

I definitely agree that Paulie's Loyalty is again with Tony and that if a war did occur, Paulie would stick with T.

That definitely could be. On the other hand, there's the possibility that Chris will take to Feech because of the bad blood between Chris and Paulie. Although they apparently buried the hatchet, I'm sure there is still a lot of resentment there on Chris's part. And Feech already had his run-in with Paulie. Feech may be starting to try to get people on his side. Either way, it should be interesting to see how it all pans out.

You can obviously see that tony and feech are having it out as well as johnny and tony. You can see that johnny sack and feech will try to gang up on tony. The one preview at lbracco.com shows tony walking nervously into a meeting with sil and bacala behind him and sack and what looks like feech are sitting together. There was a rumor of a attempted whacking of tony s that goes wrong. I bet anything that johnny will try to put feech in as head of the new jersey mob by killing tony and his crew.i bet that is how it will shape up.

do you all think it will come out about Paulie being Johnny Sac's inside source on Soprano family business last season (Esplanade, HUD scam...) and do u think it will eventually get Paulie whacked???

Tony and Sil found that out last year and did nothing, so I'd assume that they aren't going to do anything this year either.

Tony and Sil didnt really 'find out' anything. They were only assuming.

That's exactly how I figured it went. As soon as Paulie said he'd send Vitro to cut Tony's lawn, Tony replied, "Remind me to talk to you about that later."

I don't think Feech'll end up like Richie. Richie was a hardhead and did little to Tony in his face. From what I can tell from the promo for "All Happy Families", Feech isn't afraid to stand up to Tony straight to his face, unlike Richie who plotted against Tony behind his back.
There's no way Feech will end up like Ralph. Ralph was a stone cold pycho. I don't see Feech beating any strippers to death in the near future. After all...he's old school.

I can buy the idea of Tony asking Chris to 'feel' Feech out. But I gotta wonder if Chris tells Tony the truth. Who knows, Feech might know something about Chris's father that Tony didn't tell him, possible that the cop wasn't the guy who killed Dickie Moltisonti. I always wondered about that first episode in season 4, the guy said he was getting set up.
True or not, Feech may say this to try to get Chris's loyalty by getting him to turn on Tony.

i just cant see chris turning on tony for anybody or anything (if he stays clean off of heroin). chris is the kind of guy that if tony literally took a sh-t on chrissy;s head and told him its for his own good, chris would believe so and thank tony for it.

I do not think it would make much of a difference to Christopher if the guy who he killed in season four is truly his fathers killer. During the time he was in the house with the retired cop Christopher stated to the cop that it didn't matter if he killed his father or not all that mattered was that the boss wanted him dead. Christopher as always will follow Tony blindly regardless of what anyone says and that includes Feech.

Two Guns and Soda Drink, I so completely agree with your conclusions. The preview was indeed provocative, as it successfully lead many of us to speculate on the "handshake." However, Chris is loyal to Tony. That's it. Period. Were Christopher to stray from his path of allegiance, it would more likely suggest a corruption in the scriptwriting.
