Chris was just being Chris as usual.

But to answer your question he talked too much during the sitdown and didn't keep his mouth shut even after Tony specifically warned him before hand to keep quiet and not say anything.

Johnny Sack kind of took it as an insult that Chris was suggesting ideas saying he should be waiting in the car like he used to.

I knew when Tony warned him, he was going to say something and screw up

Yeah, I think we all saw that one coming from the warning. I think Chase also wanted to show how Chris is becoming higher in the eyes of Tony, from the fact that he was at the Sitdown. It also showed how no one outside of Tony's crew really respects Chris and sees him as a f*ck-up

Tony told Chris how important this meeting was, to keep his mouth shut. Clearly Sack doesn't respect Chris by his 'stay in the car' comment. Chris was showing disrespect to both Tony and Sack in his comments and worse yet, the stupidity of his comments. This is a 'death match' between Tony and Sack for control in NJ. Could this be Chris' undoing from Tony? On more screw up or a return to drugs, and Chris will be 'demoted' for sure.

This sounds silly, but I think Sack's attitude overlast season and this season has gotten crappier and crappier (maybe from the whole called off wacking of carmine) but now with Sack getting pissed about Tony's suggestion or power sharing and next weeks preview of Christopher talking about going to war. I think Sack won't be around long

Christopher's ego and his constant need to appear as an equal to all those who are above him within the family is the reason why he will never ascend through the ranks and run the family. Christopher will never be able to garner the respect of the men who he wants to work beneath him. Christopher's continued ineptitude will lead Tony to realize that the capos and soldiers of the Soprano family will never follow Chris and Chris will never ascend higher than Capo. Personally I see Chris being a soldier and nothing more.

Chase could have cut that whole scene with Chris at Tony's place and I think the audience still would have known that Chris f'ed up when he opened up his mouth.

Did the Chrissy outburst (after he was warned) remind anyone else of the scene in GFI where Corleone, Hagen, and Sonny are meeting with Sollozzo, who wants the Corleones to finance and provide protection for the new narcotics business? Sonny has an outburst and although he doesn't get a Johnny-like retort, he gets a comment like "I can remember when you waited in the car"...the Don says "Obviously I spoil my children and they have no respect"

Chris is like Ralph in that his constant screw ups will not only retard his progress but gain him a ton of enemies on the way up...if he makes it there.

There is no 'death match' for control of NJ. I dont understand where people get off saying things like this. There are set rules in the world of LCN and you cant just take any territory you want no matter how many people you kill.

It would be quite funny if Tony put Chris in front, as he did with Junior in Season One, as far as Chris carrying out all of Tony's orders. It does seem like Chrissie would make the perfect fall guy.

Chris would carry out Tony's orders only until his ego causes him to believe that he is capable of truly running the family. Soon after Chris would start making decisions without consulting Tony and as always prove that he is incapable of anything beyond his current position within the family. Who knows if the above scenario were to ever play out and Christopher really screwed things up it might even force Tony's hand and maybe Chris would have to go, permanently.

Chris is young and full of himself. He needs time, time to prove he's not and idiot, and time to get very clean from the drugs. Maturity. Even Tony's "young" to be a family Boss. I expect we will see Chris "grow" this season
