I personally loved the scene with Uncle Junior watching CYE, but I wonder if HBO forced that in or not.
The fact that it was on in the middle of the day (CYE is on exclusively at night) makes a tad unrealistic, so you wonder if David Chase really wanted to do that or not.
Still, it was a clever little bit. Larry David and Jeff Gorlen really do look like Uncle Junior and Baccala.

Hey, Junior had a Cablebox which means he might have all the HBO channels. it was an old episode, and HBO Comedy always plays all the old Curb episodes, during day, afternoon, and night. I did love the scene and referece, it was great!

Did anyone else notice that Bacala was wearing the "Ted Danson" shirt when he met with Tony at the Bing?

I hope it was done as a joke rather then a cheap way of promotion.

Actually I don't care whether it was promo or not. If they handle all the hidden promos like this, they can bring on as many promos as they like.

What will be weird is when - in the last Sopranos episode, Junior turns on HBO and really does see himself and his nephew - and it will be revealed that the entire 6 seasons took place in the mind of a senile, television-addicted Italian-American gentleman living in Belleville, NJ!!!
