1st Episode without Carmella

This was the first episode ever in the sopranos where carmella did not appear.Before, her and Tony were the only characters in every episode. Just thought I would point this out!

After whitecaps her character annoys the living hell out of me. The more Melfi, and Carmela aren't in the show the better!!!

Couldn't disagree more. They are both indispensable characters to the show for many reasons, not least of which is the unique psychological and emotional hold they have over Tony. Without the elements that those characters contribute, the Sopranos would never have received anywhere near the critical and popular acclaim it now enjoys.

I have to say that I like carmella but think she is spoiled rotten and needs to quit bitching. Tony was 100% correct in season 4 when he went off on her about how things were and you knew what you were getting into. But melfi I cannot stand. The show started around tony having problems with his families and needed a therapist to solve them. He has even more problems now and melfi does nothing. When I watch the previous seasons on dvd i skip almost every melfi scene because it is the same repetitive b.s. every time. Chase should have brought her character to a conclusion in season 3 and left it at that. They dragged it out too long just like using stupid character roles last season.Like bacala and furio. Those 2 idiots are just thugs, no more no less. They should never have been hyped up as much as they were because they are just role fillers. I have a strong feeling though that bacala will get it this season.He was bragging on the tonight show with leno about how he was still alive with 4 episodes left.I bet chase has his fat stupid ass blown away.yup
